- Blers stand for block errors...usually a result of line noise or quality.

- Is your modem on Com4? I don't know if the #9 card uses an S3 graphics
- chip or not, but if it does, you may be experiencing a common problem
- where the S3 chip is trying to use the same address as Com4 uses.
- If you think this could be the case, try moving your modem to another
- port. I recommend Com2, IRQ3, if possible.
